Meeting for Worship for Healing – Come join us – April 6, 2012 at 7 pm

Come join us at 7:00 p.m on April 6, 2012 for Meeting for Worship for Healing.  Beginning April 6, we will meet on the first Friday of each month to gather in worship with attention to healing.

What is Meeting for Worship for Healing?  This practice traces its roots to George Fox himself – founder of the Religious Society of Friends – who was also a healer.   During Meeting for Worship for Healing, participants gather in worship and ‘hold in the light,’ one at a time, individuals who have presented a specific request for healing.  The individual may be present or not.  Those attending may come because they have need for healing, or because they wish to hold in the light those in need.  All are welcome.

February 18, Saturday – Chase the winter blues away with PASTA!

Come one, come all to the 2012 pasta making extravaganza! A blizzard kept us from our annual tradition last year, but nothing will hold Leslie Deluca and Toni Molnar-Port back from helping us to make delicious homemade pasta noodles and daringly- ravioli this year! Come to Jonathan and Melanie’s house at 5:00 sharp to roll up your sleeves and dive in. A pizza dinner and fun to follow!

PYM Called Session on February 11, 2012

Thomas Swain, clerk of our Yearly Meeting, has announced a called session on Saturday, February 11, asking all PYM members to participate in discerning our way forward as a faith community, in light of our current financial difficulties.

Please consider attending if you can. Child care and children’s programming will be available.

Benefit Concert featuring Faith & Practice and Jon Watts

Fallsington Friends Meeting will host a benefit concert featuring the group Faith & Practice and musician Jon Watts on October 8, 2011 at 7:00 p.m.
Join us in the evening after a fun-filled Historic Fallsington Day for this family-oriented concert to benefit the Friends International Center in Ramallah, Palestine.
